Dr. Debarati Chakraborty is currently working on crop phenotyping and nutritional assessment using novel prototypes at International Crop Research Institute for Semi-Arid Tropics (http://gems.icrisat.org/team/). She has recently earned her doctoral degree from the University of Kalyani, West Bengal, India on Molecular Biology and Biotechnology. For her doctoral work, she has explored rare, aromatic, and non-aromatic Indian rice landraces, their genetic and biochemical underpinnings, and evolutionary history. Rajakani Velraj is pursuing her doctoral work at the Department of Physics, St.John’s College, Tamilnadu. She is currently working on photoanode materials in Dye-Sensitized solar cells.
